Day 01: Bangalore (Arrival)

The Discover Colours of India representative will meet and greet you at the Bangalore airport. You will be driven to your hotel and will be given a short brief on the tour. As already mentioned at the time of booking you will have to hand over a few documents to the tour representative. Once done and after relaxing a bit proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bangalore which is also known as the City of Gardens. You will visit the Lal Bagh, Vidhan Saudha, and Bangalore Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Bangalore – Bannerghatta – Bangalore

After a hearty breakfast, you will proceed to visit the Bannerghatta Biological Reserve today. This is a place where you will be exploring the wilderness. The main attractions at the reserve are the zoo, safari, butterfly park, reptile house and rescue centre. This is where several tigers and lions that have been rescued from circuses are kept. In the evening you will return back to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Bangalore – Mysore

After a scrumptious breakfast, you begin your tour to Mysore, also known as the Scotland of India. After the check-in formalities and resting a bit, it is time to explore this beautiful city. You will be seeing the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, and Brindavan Gardens. You will also see the evening light and music fountain show here. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Mysore – Ranganathittu – Mysore

After having breakfast at the hotel you will embark on the tour towards the Rangathittu Bird Sanctuary. This is located on an island called the Kavery River. The spot is famous as a nesting and breeding ground for birds. You may also be lucky to see some migratory birds that visit this place annually. A boat ride lets you explore the flora and fauna of this place. You will also visit the Balmurli Falls. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Mysore – Nagarhole

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Nagarhole National Park. This is famous as the finest tiger turf in India and is also home to the Asiatic elephants. You will arrive at the jungle lodge and relax here. After lunch, you are free to go on a nature walk to explore the surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 : Nagarhole National Park

You will get up early today and get mesmerised by the wild flora and fauna when you take the wildlife safari at the park. After the safari return back to the lodge. Have a hearty breakfast and relax before you set again for the next safari in the afternoon. The park is home to predators and herbivores. You may also be able to see some predatory activities if lucky. After the trip return back to the lodge and enjoy a comfortable night stay.

Day 07 : Nagarhole – Bandipur

After breakfast you proceed to the next stop- Bandipur National Park. This park is known to have the highest elephant population which is over 3000. When you reach the jungle resort and complete the check-in formalities it will be almost afternoon. Relax and in the evening step out to appreciate the natural forest and enjoy the serenity of the pace. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 08 : Bandipur

You will enjoy two wildlife safaris today. One is scheduled pre-breakfast and the other after lunch. You may be lucky to get to see a variety of birds and wild annals today. All of them are in their natural habitat. In between you will return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities. You may also visit the Venugopala Temple which is near the park. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09 : Bandipur – Ooty

After breakfast check out from the Bandipur hotel and start your drive towards Ooty. You will be captivated by the pine and the eucalyptus trees along with the tea and the coffee plantations that you see all through the way. Once you arrive in Ooty check into the hotel. After lunch explore the place on your own. The Botanical Garden, Doddabett Park and the tea plantations are the major attractions here. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 : Ooty

After breakfast, you will proceed to enjoy the various sights that Ooty has to offer. The sights to be covered today are the Cathetherine Falls, Pykara Falls, Ootylake, Dolphin’s Nose, Droog Fort and the hidden valleys of Coonoor and Bison and the toy train ride from Mettupalayam to Coonoor. After you have soaked yourself in the beauty of the Nilgiri Hills and the lakes it is time to return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 : Ooty – Bangalore

Today is your last day of the South India Wildlife Tour Package. After breakfast, it is time to head back to Bengaluru to board your flight for your onward journey.
